Peppers Moonah Links Resort

Peppers Moonah Links Resort is located in prime Australian coast and bushland amidst an undulating landscape, less than an hour and a half from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne. The region has long been favoured as a seaside holiday destination and is recognised as an exciting wine growing region. You can experience iconic surf beaches and modern Victorian country charm side by side here.

The leisure resort is one of the most unique of its kind in Australia, blending two 18- hole championship golf courses and luxury accommodation with a Day Spa and a la carte restaurant - more than enough to entertain solo travelers, couples, families, groups and corporates alike. Conveniently located between one of Victoria's most popular award winning attraction, the Peninsula Hot Springs and neighboring Cups Estate Winery, one does not need to venture far from the resort to experience the very best that the Mornington Peninsula has to offer.

Peppers Moonah Links Resort Mornington Peninsula offers 85 deluxe rooms and suites, all with balconies or terraces overlooking the stunning golf courses or central putting green. Each room features natural materials, clean lines and earthy Australian tones with the stylish furnishings and fittings Peppers is renowned for. The natural harmony of the outdoor setting has been brought indoors with the architecturally designed rooms echoing the landscape.

When you're not out playing golf, take a dip in the outdoor solor heated swimming pool or unwind with a relaxation massage or treatment at the onsite Moonah Day Spa. Grab a mountain bike to explore the local area or get the family together for a light hearted game of badminton or volleyball. Other facilities include on-site gymnasium, practice putting green and driving range.

Take time off from all of that activity with an exquisite dining experience at the resort's signature a la carte Pebbles Restaurant, offering a relaxed modern Australian menu and a panoramic view of the rolling greens. For a more casual dining option or to enjoy a pre-dinner drink or nightcap, the Spike Bar opens out on to a sun drenched terrace where you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets over the Open Course and is open 7 days a week from 7:00 AM - 11:00PM.

The wine list is extensive and sure to impress any discerning grape lover with many local wineries represented; craft beer, cider, cocktails, aperitifs, spririts and plenty of non-alcoholic options are also available for all to enjoy.

These are just some of the facilities and experiences available in the resort - our friendly staff are always onhand to recommend a plethora of other attractions in the area to make your stay a memorable one.

Peppers Moonah Links Resort is the ultimate destination for golf enthusiasts. Two world-class 18 hole golf courses provide a true test for all levels of golfer, regardless of whether you're new to the sport or a seasoned pro.

The Open course is truly one of a kind and was the first 18 hole course built and prepared specifically for a national championship - in this case, the Australia Open.

"The Open Course at Moonah Links is one of the longest courses in Australia, and probably in the world in this category. It is a mighty and ferocious test of golfing ability, the likes of which even the top pros only occasionally experience.

In terms of difficulty, I estimate a club-handicapped player would merit an extra eight strokes assistance to return a net par score, yet the course has great flexibility. It can be played at many different lengths depending on tees selected.

In addition to its conducive natural contours, the site is blessed with ever-present wind of some direction and strength, and this enhances its attributes.

The Leviathan of a course is a new experience for Australian golf and will give visitors a whiff of what top championship play is really like."

Peter Thomson - 5 times British Open Champion

The Legends Course acts as a tribute to the golfing champions who have gone before us, and is a friendly and inviting course for players of all levels of ability and age.

"The Legends Course stands as a tribute to past champions who have contributed to the rich history of Australian golf.

In contrast to the Open Course, which was purpose built to challenge the modern champion, the Legends Course is a more friendly golfing experience for players of all ages and abilities.

The course is a loop of 18 holes that generally follow the valleys through a variety of landscapes ranging from ancient Moonah woodlands to open links land. The fairways are generous and the putting surfaces gentle, but the bunkering style is bold and wild in appearance.

At 6,315 metres, the course should be fun, but it won't be a pushover.

We trust the Legends Course will do justice to the champions it honours and will inspire others to emulate their feats."
