Relaxing attractions near Moonah Links

When you're on holiday, the last thing that you really want to be doing is cramming yourself into a car for a long drive to some far-off destination. After all, the point of going on holiday is to get away from the hum-drum routines of everyday life – which commuting is definitely a part of.
What you really want, is a central location where you can walk or bike to great attractions without having to hop in the car. Fortunately, Moonah Links is such a place, thanks to the wealth of different things to see and do on the Mornington Peninsula. Here are two of our favourite places nearby.
1. The Cups Estate
Now as we all know, the Mornington Peninsula is famous for its wine – it's some of the best in Australia. There are dozens of producers dotted around the place, and one of the best is right on Moonah Links' doorstep. The Cups Estate was established in 1999 by Joe and Carmen Fisicaro, and it covers some 30 acres of land right beside the Moonah Links golf courses.
At the estate, you'll find a vineyard, cellar door, restaurant and even an olive grove, providing a range of interesting places to explore. Best of all, there's wine – all of which is made by hand and recognised with awards across the country. Varietals include pinot gris, chardonnay, rose and shiraz, so no matter your tastes you'll be well looked after.
2. Peninsula Hot Springs
After a long day of wandering and tasting wines, it's perfectly understandable that you're ready for a bit of relaxation. Well it's fortunate indeed that right around the corner are one of the Mornington Peninsula's most popular attractions, the Peninsula Hot Springs.
There are more than 20 different bathing experiences to enjoy here, and you'll want to have a go at each and every one of them. Boasting some of the best views of the surrounding area, the pools are both warm and therapeutic, especially in winter when there's nothing quite like dipping into the waters for a soak. If you feel like a spot of pampering, check into the Spa Dreaming Centre, and enjoy a truly lush treatment in the most tranquil environment imaginable.
These are simply two of the hundreds of different things that you can see and do while on holiday at Moonah Links. Some places are closer than others, but they're all well worth the visit if you have time. For more information, get in touch with the Moonah Links team today.
