What sports can you do on the Mornington Peninsula?

Rather than only go to a gym, however, why not try out some of the physical attractions located around the area?
Here is a quick rundown of where you can participate in sports around the Mornington Peninsula.
Moonah Links Resort
Peppers Moonah Links Resort itself has some great sporting activities that you can participate in by yourself or with your fellow guests.
The main attractions are its championship golf course, of which there are two. The Open Course was designed specifically for the Australian Open and is nearly seven kilometres long. The Legends Course, on the other hand, is more amateur-friendly and sits at just over six kilometres long.
Moonah Links also offers tennis, badminton and volleyball courts and equipment hire, as well as a swimming pool and gymnasium.
Around the peninsula
Aquatic adventurers should visit the coast to partake in surfing lessons, courtesy of East Coast Surf School. Located primarily at Point Leo, 30 minutes east of the resort (though occasionally travelling to other beaches), this school supplies you with all the equipment necessary to get into the sport of surfing in safe, monitored conditions.
You can also try your hand at fishing on a charter with companies such as Bay Fish N Trips. Based out of Mornington, this company in particular offers public casual charters, which run both in the morning and afternoon, as well as private charters for business groups, stag/hens parties and anyone else looking to have the boat to themselves. All trips include quality fishing rods, a barbecue lunch and a chance to take home your catch.
On a different note, squash courts are available for hire in Dromana, 15 minutes from the resort. Tonic Squash and Gym offers public court rental per hour, and even includes racquet and ball hire, too.
