A delightful day in Victoria without ever leaving the resort
Tweet Published on 14th January 2015 in Blog, Golfing in Victoria, Holiday Tips and AdviceMornington Peninsula is a wonderful and popular destination for a holiday in Victoria and with so much to see and do here you're guaranteed never to be bored. But sometimes a holiday is about allowing yourself to be lazy, take it easy, and enjoy a slower pace of life.
Luckily for you, at Moonah Links you can have the perfect day in Victoria without ever having to set foot outside the resort.
Morning
Start your day with a late breakfast in Pebbles Restaurant with fresh and tasty continental and hot dishes. Once you've had your fill it's time to grab your clubs and head for the golf course. Perhaps your most difficult choice of the day will be whether you want to play 18 holes on the Open Course, designed and built specifically for the Australian Open, or the Legends Course, designed for a slightly easier, more relaxed game.
If golf's not your thing you can stretch your muscles on our tennis courts, play a game of badminton or volleyball, or work up a sweat in the gym – the choice is yours.
Afternoon
By mid-day you'll surely have worked up an appetite. Drop into Spike bar for a light lunch and a nice glass of wine from our extensive wine list as you enjoy the views of the native moonah trees and the Open Course.
Then it's time to soak up some warm afternoon sun by the outdoor pool. Grab your favourite book or dip in for a swim to round off the perfect afternoon.
Evening
Come evening, it's time to relax with dinner at Pebbles Restaurant, where the fresh local ingredients and masterful touch of our head chef, Andrew Perry, are sure to satisfy your taste buds.
Then it's time to unwind with a nightcap and enjoy the convivial atmosphere in Spike bar before retiring to your luxurious accommodation for a restful night's sleep before doing it all over again tomorrow.
